MAG / Creative Director
MAG was notable for being the first FPS on a console to support up to 256 players in a single map, a huge technical achievemt on the PlayStation 3. As Creative Director at Zipper, I oversaw Socom 4 and MAG though my involvement in the latter was more supportive as the team had strong Design department. My work for MAG included working with the Art Director and leads to help develop the game’s three fictional Private Military corporations (S.V.E.R, RAVEN and VALOR), writing VO and supporting Voice and Motion Capture sessions.
MAG was a game cut short by a massive data breach at Sony and a subsequent shutdown of the PlayStation Network, however it was much loved and developed a devoted community of players who continue to plead for it to be restored or remade!
