Parent CRAFT / Creative Director
Parent CRAFT [Cadence Online] is an web-based course that teaches parents to deal with their kids' drug or alcohol abuse and addiction in general. Based on the CRAFT (Community Reinforcement and Family Training) approach developed and taught by Dr. Robert Meyers, we created a full program that leveraged interactive quizzes, printed material and fully filmed sequences that showed the journey of four parents and their kids.
As Creative Director my responsibilities were to take early written material and design a intuitive UI/UX layer around them as well as turn the initial dialogue and re-write it into a screenplay. Working with our video production partners, B47, I helped select our cast, handled writing and editing and attended all our video shoots to assist with production. Simultaneously I worked with our web partners 8ninths to create the interactive framework and front end web design. I designed the structure of the course, the navigation flow and worked with expert researchers to hone the content, maintaining our high standard of production while staying on budget.

I made these UX storyboards to break down the lesson material we had into a linear set of lessons by the "Expert" presenter (E), acted sequences (A), and punctuated with interactive quizzes.
Direction on how the interactive portions of our course would be built through three main components that would be flexible to handle multiple video sizes, platform settings and quiz setups.
